The mood of the two-day gathering was definitely one of excitement; the most influential and innovative people from each sector were there with an open mind and notebook, ready to share ideas and learn from each other’s journeys. There was also ample opportunity to enjoy the immersive showcase exhibitions and bars (oxygen, oyster and alcohol). East London Liquor Company even enjoyed our Unsweetened so much that they created a cocktail around it, “Vividly East London”.
The technological innovation that was exhibited at the Summit was astounding. Unilever’s World of Me gave an insight into the future of the consumer experience and, it is about to get a whole lot more personalised. For us, the highlight of the event was meeting Pepper, Aldebaran’s human-shaped robot. Obviously unable to drink a Matcha green tea – his systems run on a different energy to ours – he still looks fly standing next to one.
